Sycamore Education

Communication is very important at St. Irenaeus.
We strive to keep you informed of all that is happening in the Kindergarten classrooms and the school.

We communicate regularly through:
Weekly Behavior Charts
Weekly Teacher letters and notes
Principal’s Newsletter
School and Teacher websites
Phone Calls

School emails go out every Sunday morning
and all school news is posted on Sycamore Education.

Sycamore Education is our most comprehensive site for important news, information, documents and communication with the school.

If you are not getting school emails,
please check with the office
that we have your correct address.

Welcome to St. Irenaeus Parish School

We look forward to working together with you so that your child can reach his or her full potential.  Throughout the year they will be learning many new skills and concepts in our classrooms.  They will also be working with different members of the school faculty and staff in our Accelerated Reading, Physical Education, Music and Art programs.  Most importantly, they will be given opportunities to learn more about their Catholic faith, to pray together, and to follow Jesus’ example of loving and serving others.

We welcome the opportunity to speak with you throughout the school year.  We have scheduled parent-teacher conferences for all students in the fall and spring.  Individual conferences will be scheduled, as requested or needed.  We can be contacted by email and we are available to schedule meetings before and after school.  We can also receive phone messages via the school office at 714-827-4500.

Thank you,
Your Kindergarten Teachers

Back To School Prayer

Dear God,
Thank you for the gift
of education in every form.
As our children prepare
to start a new year,
may confidence be their foundation,
may grace be their guide
and may hope be their compass
toward a bright future.
We pray they would have eyes to see
the needs of those around them
and a heart to love well.
May they face each day
with positivity,
knowing that no matter
what comes their way,
they do not have to face it alone.
Amen
