Tuesday Morning Faculty Prayer
Every Tuesday morning the teachers meet to pray together at 7:30 a.m.  In kindergarten we take turns attending the prayer meeting each week.  This is a time when students in other grades line-up outside their classroom.  Since we welcome you to come into the classroom each morning upon arrival, on Tuesdays we will welcome all students into one open kindergarten classroom, so that we may both attend this prayer group twice each month.

Wear your uniform backwards and/or inside out.
Tuesday - CraZy Hair Day
Wear your uniform and your hair in an exciting wild style.
Wednesday - Sports Attire Day
Wear non-uniform clothing with a sports logo, a team uniform, or clothes comfortable for playing sports.
Thursday - CraZy Red Day
Add as much red as possible to your school uniform.
Friday - HALLOWEEN PARADE
Wear your Halloween Costume to school.

Halloween Help Needed Friday, October 27

Dear Families,
We are looking for a few more volunteers for our Halloween activities. When you visit our site on Shutterfly there are 3 sign up sheets related to Halloween under the Volunteer tab. If you are cleared to volunteer, please consider joining us as a Traveling Group Leader or as supervision for the Free Form Early Finishers Station. If you haven't completed the process for Safe Environment we could still use help with set up.

RESPECT LIFE BABY SHOWER

Our 8th grade class will be hosting a "baby shower" with all proceeds benefiting the Precious Life Shelter in Los Alamitos during the month of October. Baby items may be dropped off in the playpen in front of the School Office. They will also be collecting recyclables (plastic water bottles and aluminum cans) to raise funds to purchase items for the shelter. Recyclables may be dropped off in Room 8 throughout the month. Thank you for supporting this worthwhile project!

costume parade
Family members who wish to observe

to watch the parade.

11:30 a.m.
Kindergarten special snack and hands on themed activities
Only the adult helpers who have signed up on Shutterfly to volunteer will remain on campus to help. Please note the arrival time for volunteers on Shutterfly.
11:45 a.m.
Kindergarten dismissal
School is out early, please make arrangements for early pick up.
Students who are not picked up will be taken to daycare as the teachers are leaving campus to attend an in-service. We hope to see you later that night 
at Trunk-or-Treat!

Dear Families,
            We are looking for helpers to assist us with our activities on Friday, October 27, 2017. Sign-ups will be posted on our class Shutterfly account. Volunteers for most jobs must be cleared to work with students. Please look carefully at the sign-up sheet to see if it is a position that will require Safe Environment Requirements to be met. We need volunteers to sign up as soon as possible so that we can verify clearance.

No Goodie Bags, No Presents, Snack provided

UNIFORM REMINDER
Socks should be red, white, navy blue or black and high enough to cover the ankles.

SNACK/LUNCH REMINDER
Your student needs a snack, drink and lunch every day. 

Please remember to pack eating utensils, like spoons and forks, when needed.
