To celebrate Patriot’s Day, and to thank the children for being so good during construction, we will have non-uniform dress for Tuesday, as long as they wear Red, White and/or Blue.

Week of September 10 - 14

This Week We Are Learning About:

Religion – How to show Love for others

Math – Classifying, sorting, and counting objects

Science – How and why Earth is constantly changing

Social Studies- Rules and procedures, patriotic symbols

Language Arts – Writing your name, alphabet, listening and discussing stories

Homework – Optional Homework Packet is available on Tuesday.

P.E is on Tuesday and Thursday.  Please remember to wear your PE uniform on these days.

Share Assignments will begin next week.

*** Shoes and Socks ***

Students need to wear rubber-soled tie or Velcro closure shoes every day.

Students need to wear socks that are high enough to cover their ankles every day.

Wed. Sept. 12 - We will send home a bag with a HOPE tag on Tuesday.  Please return the bag on Wednesday with food donations for needy families in our community.

Back-to-School Night

Just a reminder that kindergarten and TK already had our Back to School Night presentation.

The BTSN on September 12^th is for grades 1-8.

Shutterfly

Each grade level has a Shutterfly account where families can add pictures and sign up for volunteer opportunities within the grade level. A form will be coming home to families not currently signed up.

Mrs. Cierley's class will be working in the Learning Support Room and Mrs. Liljeberg's class in the Library.

Kindergarten Drop off is from 7:30-7:55 a.m.
Kindergarten Pick up is from 2:15-3:00 p.m.

Fri. Sept. 7- We will celebrate friends in Kindergarten. Students should bring a pretend friend-a stuffed animal, teddy bear, or doll-to school on this day.
