This Week We Are Learning About:
Religion - St. Valentine’s Day, Ways to show love
Language Arts - Alphabet sequence, letter sounds, rhyming, CVC words, writing a sentence, sight words, 5 Ws - who, what, when, where, why
Math - Numbers to 100, Skip counting
Science - Changing environments
Social Studies - Community Helpers, Stone Soup
This week PE is on Tuesday and Thursday.

Next Week’s Share - Patriotic symbols

Tuesday, February 11th – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40 p.m. 
Wednesday, February 12th- HOPE Collection - Food Donations appreciated
Friday, February 14th - St. Valentine’s Day - We will exchange valentines with our classmates.  Please bring at least
18 valentines, one for each student in your class.  We will also have a
special snack on this day.
Monday, February 17th - NO SCHOOL - Presidents’ Day
Friday, February 21st - NO SCHOOL - Teacher Inservice

***Mark your calendar for these special events!***

Friday, March 27 - TK/K Theater at 9:00 a.m. in the Hall. Families welcome!
Wednesday, June 10 - Kindergarten Graduation at 10:30 in the Church. Families welcome!

Classroom Donations - We would appreciate donations of sandwich or gallon size plastic bags.

Tuesday, February 4th – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40 p.m.

Math - Composing and decomposing numbers to 10
Science - Farms, changing environments
Social Studies - Farm to market to plate
This week PE is on Tuesday and Thursday.
This Week’s Share - Book Report - Form sent home today.
Tuesday Share group will be moved to Friday this week.
Next Week’s Share - Community workers/jobs
Monday, January 20th – NO SCHOOL - Martin Luther King Jr Day
Tuesday, January 21st – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY Kindergarten
is dismissed at 1:40 p.m. 
Thursday, January 23rd - FORMAL UNIFORM 
Parents, we need all students to wear their formal uniform on
Thursday, January 23rd. We can't give any more details at
this time as to why they need to wear their formal, but you
will find out during Catholic Schools Week. Thank you for your
cooperation.
Sunday, January 26th  - Catholic School Week begins with Mass
at 9:45 a.m.  Then join us at OPEN HOUSE 11:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
to see your child’s work in their classroom.
Friday, January 31st - January Birthday snacks (birthday families
will be contacted) and 11:45 a.m. dismissal
