A GENTLE REMINDER: Please refrain from sending in a class or grade set of gifts for your child to pass out. In kindergarten we do not have the children exchange gifts from home at any of the holidays. Here at school we will be making a present for our Big Buddies. Thank you for following our grade's policy!

This Week We Are Learning About:                  
Religion – Christmas, Advent, Nativity
Language Arts – Sentence structure, letter sounds, printing
Math – Comparing numbers and quantity. Counting to 100 by ones and tens.
Social Studies – Needs and wants
Science – Nature, living organisms
Homework – Optional Homework Packet is available on Tuesday.

SHARE on your designated Share Day:
This week decorate the Christmas ornament that is coming home on Monday.
Next Week: NO SHARE

Mon, Dec 11-  Student Learning Assessments went home on Friday. SLA envelopes need to be signed and returned to school. The report card (SLA) is yours to keep.
Tue, Dec 12 – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY – 1:40 p.m., Homework Club is available, Sign-Up on Sycamore
Wed, Dec 13 – Send in food to donate to HOPE-the bag that is coming home must come back to school each month even if your child is not going to donate food. Thank you!
Fri, Dec 15 – December birthday snack-notes went home last week to students with December birthdays. Please let us know if you didn't see yours.
Tue, Dec 19 –  Christmas sweater day: students may wear a Christmas sweater to school. EARLY DISMISSAL DAY – 1:40 p.m., Homework Club is available, Sign-Up on Sycamore
Thurs, Dec 21 – Student Body Mass – Kindergartners are the only grade not wearing Formal Uniform this Mass. Kindergartners will be wearing their dress up clothes for the TK/K Christmas Concert.

TK/K CHRISTMAS CONCERT
10:30am in the Hall
All Welcome!
Kindergarten students may wear non-uniform on this day.
Girls usually wear festive dresses, skirts, blouses and nice non-athletic shoes.
Boys usually wear long pants, collared shirts,
as well as, sweaters, vests and/or ties.
