Religion- Friendship, Jesus is the Good Shepherd Based on John 10: 14-15 and Luke 15:3-7
Language Arts –Composing complete sentences, short vowel sounds, rhyming words

Math – Compose/Decompose Numbers to 10

Social Studies – City, Community, Neighborhood, MLK Jr.

Science – Habitats

Homework – Optional Homework Packet is available on Tuesday.

We are learning about communities. Take a picture of yourself somewhere in your community and email it to your teacher. Examples: at the library, police station, doctor’s office, dentist’s office,  grocery store, school, your neighborhood.

Sun., January 28^th- Catholic Schools Week Kickoff Mass: 11:30 a.m. Students wear their formal uniform.

Open House: 1-3 p.m. Students and their families visit their classroom to see projects we have been working on, students are encouraged to tour the first-grade classrooms to see what to expect next year.

Glow Zone: 4-6 p.m. Finally our HSA and student government have planned a fun afternoon at Glow Zone-be sure to buy your tickets now.
