PARENTING IN A DIGITAL WORLD PRESENTATION

Calling all parents!! You won't want to miss this informative parent seminar!

We are excited to have Clayton Cranford, cyber safety expert and Orange County Sheriff Sergeant help us navigate this very important subject. He will be covering a variety of topics, including:

· Risks associated with popular social media sites

· Current apps kids are using and what you need to know about them

· How to monitor online activity

· What age should a child have a smart phone

· "Sexting" and online predators

· Parental controls and privacy settings

· Current impact of bullying in schools

More details can be found on the school flyer attached to the weekly email. Parents can get FISH hours for attending (use Activity #476).

Students whose parent(s) attend will have non-uniform dress on Monday, April 23rd.

ANDREW CHINN RETURNS TO ST. IRENAEUS

Australian religious songwriter and singer, Andrew Chinn, will return to St. Irenaeus on Wednesday, March 14th for music workshops with our students, as well as an afternoon concert at 1:00PM in the Hall. Andrew has visited our school for many years and is always a favorite with our students. Parents are welcome to attend!
