Tuesday September 24 – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY - Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40 p.m. If you are unable to pick up your

child at 1:40 p.m. and they do not usually attend DayCare you could sign

them up for Homework Club. It is in the Hall until 2:45pm on

Early Dismissal Tuesdays. A teacher walks kindergarten students

to Homework Club.  Students must be picked up by 3:00pm or they will be

sent to Day Care.

Friday September 27- Full day of school. School is dismissed at 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday October 1 - Chipotle Dine Out 4-8 p.m. please see the school’s weekly email for

more information.

Friday October 25 - Trunk or Treat 5-9 p.m. please see the school’s weekly email for more information.

Tuesdays Sept 10, 17, and the 24th – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY -Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40 p.m. If you are unable to pick up your child at 1:40 p.m. and they do not usually attend DayCare you could sign them up for Homework Club. Wednesday, September 11th – Patriot Day - Students may wear non-uniform clothes that are Red, White, and/or Blue.

Friday, September  20th - August and September Birthday Snacks - A special note will be sent home to families of students with birthdays.

This Week We Are Learning About:

Religion - Prayer Posture, Behavior at Mass, Mary’s Birthday

Language Arts - Names, Print concepts, Connect visuals to text

Math - Position words

Science - Real/pretend, Bears

Social Studies - School behavior, Sharing

Fine Arts - Primary colors, Secondary colors

No Share this week

Your child’s share day will be on a label inside their folder.

Kindergartners will have the same share day throughout this school year.

A more detailed note regarding share will be sent home and posted on our blog.

Remember:

• Get a good night’s sleep.
• Bring your blue bag, blue folder, snack and drink every day this week.
• Bring or order lunch every day.

Tuesdays Sept 3, 10, 17, and the 24th – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY

September enrollment in Homework Club was sent out last week.

Kindergartners wear their polo shirts and either a school jumper or long navy blue pants.

Thursday, September 5th- P.E. day, wear your PE uniform to school all day

and please fill out and return the pink PE slip. Thank you!

Friday, September 6th- FRIENDSHIP DAY

– We will celebrate friends in kindergarten.

Students should also bring a pretend friend – stuffed animal, teddy bear or doll

- to school on this day.

SHARE Begins Next Week!  

 “Share” is a weekly activity that requires at home preparation. 

The Share topic is assigned and communicated through our

weekly letter and blog.  Your child is assigned a day to speak

about the assigned topic. This day will remain the same for

the school year.

Week of September 15th: 10 small similar items that fit in a

Ziploc bag
