This Week We Are Learning About:
Religion - Prayer Posture, Behavior at Mass, Mary’s Birthday
Language Arts - Names, Print concepts, Connect visuals to text
Math - Position words
Science - Real/pretend, Bears
Social Studies - School behavior, Sharing
Fine Arts - Primary colors, Secondary colors
No Share this week
Your child’s share day will be on a label inside their folder.
Kindergartners will have the same share day throughout this school year.
A more detailed note regarding share will be sent home and posted on our blog.
Remember:
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Bring your blue bag, blue folder, snack and drink every day this week.
- Bring or order lunch every day.
Tuesdays Sept 3, 10, 17, and the 24th – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY
-Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40 p.m. An email and a paper note regarding
September enrollment in Homework Club was sent out last week.
If you are unable to pick up your child at 1:40 p.m.
and they do not usually attend DayCare you could sign them up for Homework Club.
It is in the Hall until 2:45pm on Early Dismissal Tuesdays.

Students must be picked up by 3:00pm or they will be sent to Day Care.
Wednesday, September 4th – Student Body Mass.
Kindergartners wear their polo shirts and either a school jumper or long navy blue pants.
Thursday, September 5th- P.E. day, wear your PE uniform to school all day
and please fill out and return the pink PE slip. Thank you!
Friday, September 6th- FRIENDSHIP DAY
– We will celebrate friends in kindergarten.
Students should also bring a pretend friend – stuffed animal, teddy bear or doll
- to school on this day.
