This Week We Are Learning About:
Religion - Saints
Language Arts - Alphabet sequence, letter sounds, rhyming,
short /a/ CVC words, writing a sentence, main idea
Math - Numbers 27-30
Science - Places animals live, ecosystem, habitat
Social Studies-leader, adult, Halloween
This week PE is on Tuesday only.

Tuesday, October 29th – EARLY DISMISSAL DAY - Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40 p.m. If you are unable to pick up
your child at 1:40 p.m. and they do not
usually attend DayCare you could sign them
up for Homework Club. It is in the Hall until
2:45pm on Early Dismissal Tuesdays. A teacher
walks kindergarten students to Homework Club.
Students must be picked up by 3:00 pm or they
will be sent to Extended Day Care.
Thursday, October 31st - Halloween - Students
may wear costumes to school. We will participate in
a school parade, enjoy festive activities, and eat special
snacks.
Friday, November 1st- Wear your formal uniform to
school for our Student Body Mass

Friday, December 20th, - TK/K Christmas Concert at 10:30 a.m. in the Hall. Families welcome!
Friday, March 27th - TK/K Theater at 9:00 a.m. in the Hall. Families welcome!
Wednesday, June 10th - Kindergarten Graduation at 10:30 in the Church. Families welcome!
PENNIES FROM HEAVEN - STEWARDSHIP PROJECT
October is Respect Life Month in our Catholic Church.
We need your help in collecting money,
especially any extra change, like pennies, nickels, and dimes for Pennies from Heaven
collection at our parish. You can turn your envelopes into the school office.
This year the proceeds will benefit: Precious Life Shelter in Los Alamitos
which is close by to St. Irenaeus School. We hope you can help us out and
remember you are helping so many people, especially children!
