We are learning about communities. Take a picture of yourself somewhere in your community and email it to your teacher. Examples: at the library, police station, doctor’s office, dentist’s office, grocery store, school, your neighborhood.
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT FOR Grown-ups: If you are willing to send us a picture of yourself at work, we would very much appreciate it. Thank you!

Glow Zone: 4-6 p.m. Finally our HSA and student government have planned a fun afternoon at Glow Zone-be sure to buy your tickets now.

Tue, Dec 19 –  Christmas sweater day: students may wear Christmas Attire to school. Please make sure you adhere to non-uniform guidelines.
EARLY DISMISSAL DAY – 1:40 p.m., Homework Club is available, Sign-Up on Sycamore
Wed, Dec 20- Students who participate in the Accelerated Reading program should bring their library book to school and be ready to take a comprehension test. We will collect the books and new library books will be given out after the break. There will not be time to take a test on Thursday, so please don’t forget your book. Children who do not yet participate in this program should continue to study and memorize their sight words so that they may begin to check out books after the break.
Thurs, Dec 21 – Student Body Mass – Kindergartners are the only grade not wearing Formal Uniform this Mass. Kindergartners will be wearing their dress up clothes for the TK/K Christmas Concert. Dismissal will be from your child’s classroom immediately after the concert. Don’t forget to bring your tote bag!

All Welcome!
Kindergarten students may wear non-uniform on this day.
Girls usually wear festive dresses, skirts, blouses and nice non-athletic shoes.
Boys usually wear long pants, collared shirts,
as well as, sweaters, vests and/or ties.


A GENTLE REMINDER: Please refrain from sending in a class or grade set of gifts for your child to pass out. In kindergarten we do not have the children exchange gifts from home at any of the holidays. Here at school we will be making a present for our Big Buddies. Thank you for following our grade's policy!
